We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Uvalde County, Texas. You will work on a quarry floor. Requirements: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems The role involves: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank Overtime paid at a premium rate.
