Glazing installer • Wabash County, Illinois

Now hiring: we are hiring a glazing installer in Wabash County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. The role involves: • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
