Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Shelby County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Your main tasks: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
