Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Blair County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Blair County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T You will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; load and index turning tools in the turret; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
