Bread and bun maker wanted in North Tyneside

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in North Tyneside, England. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. On the job you will handle: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Full-time with occasional weekends.
