We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Jefferson County, Illinois. The job is in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. You will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. What we are looking for: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
