Great opportunity: we are hiring a deboner in Lewis County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
