CNC programmer-operator — North Ayrshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
