Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Calhoun County, Florida. You will work at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
