D6/D8 dozer operator — Antrim County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Antrim County, Michigan. The job is at an open-cast mine. You will rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 2+ years on the tools preferred.
