Join our team: fusing press operator (New Jersey)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Burlington County, New Jersey. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
