Visual inspection operator — New Hanover County

Join our team: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in New Hanover County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day-to-day duties: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
