Carpenter — Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a carpenter in Boone County, Iowa. The job is on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Own basic hand tools 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
