Render and set plasterer wanted in Sumter County

Join our team: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Sumter County, South Carolina. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Day-to-day duties: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Rotating shifts.
