Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Carroll County, Ohio. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
