What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool 1+ years on the tools preferred.
