Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turner in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time, day shift.
