Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Iowa County, Wisconsin. The job is in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
