Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
