Vacancy available: meat trimmer (Colorado)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in San Miguel County, Colorado. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. The role involves stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler 2+ years on the tools preferred.
