Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Jackson County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
