Shakeout operator wanted in Pulaski County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Pulaski County, Illinois. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
