360 excavator operator — Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Your main tasks: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient Full-time with occasional weekends.
