Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Georgetown County, South Carolina. You will work at a power plant. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Meals and transport allowance provided.
