Mining dozer operator — White County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in White County, Illinois. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. The role involves grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
