Blocklayer — Sheridan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Sheridan County, North Dakota. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
