Mining dozer operator — Athens County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Athens County, Ohio. You will work at a land-clearing site. Day to day you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; refuel the machine and record running hours; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
