Pastry baker — Hanover County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Hanover County, Virginia. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; score the top of loaves before baking; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
