Roofer — Smith County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofer in Smith County, Mississippi. The job is on residential new-build sites. Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A good head for heights and steady balance • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel On a typical shift you will nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; insulate and ventilate the roof void; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
