Lathe programmer-operator — Cerro Gordo County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed.
