On a typical shift you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Six days a week, one day off. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
