Machinist — Taliaferro County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Taliaferro County, Georgia. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
