Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Rusk County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
