Brick and block layer wanted in LaGrange County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in LaGrange County, Indiana. You will be based on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
