Finishing presser — Pocahontas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Pocahontas County, Iowa. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On the job you will handle: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Rotating shifts.
