Now hiring: precision welder (Oklahoma)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Garfield County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
