Plant operator — Jega

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Jega, Kebbi State. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. The role involves carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
