Foundry operative — Floyd County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Floyd County, Iowa. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
