Safety marshal — Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Franklin County, Kansas. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience.
