Machine operator — Wayne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator in Wayne County, North Carolina. You will work in a packaging factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Day to day you will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line. We offer $2,750 per project plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
