Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Hettinger County, North Dakota. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Part-time with flexible hours.
