Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Monroe County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
