Now hiring: we are hiring a cold room technician in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day-to-day duties: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter Part-time with flexible hours.
