Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Union County, Florida. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Full-time, day shift.
