Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Oglethorpe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; load and index turning tools in the turret; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Full-time, day shift.
