On a typical shift you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; refuel the machine and record running hours; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
