Cnc lathe operator • Orange County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Orange County, Texas. You will be based in a tool room. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers 4+ years on the tools preferred.
