Carpenter — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a carpenter in Washington County, Illinois. You will work on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
