Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. The job is in a packaging factory. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine.
