Backhoe operator • Pacific County, Washington

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Pacific County, Washington. You will be based on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Day-to-day duties: • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
